Rules for Submitting Events to the Calendar

  • All events must be LOCAL – this means within approximately 25 miles of Winston-Salem
  • All events must be OPEN TO THE PUBLIC – no exceptions
  • While the Events themselves may be for adults only, YOUR POSTING ITSELF MUST BE G-RATED – no nudity, scenes of graphic violence, profanity or etc. This is a family-friendly site. ANY SUBMISSIONS THAT VIOLATE THIS RULE WILL NOT BE POSTED AND YOU MAY BE BANNED FOR LIFE.

 

FAQ’s Regarding Event Submissions

  • You may enter as many events as you like FOR FREE

  • Please note that you will be required to Register as a User to post any events. After you register, check your email to confirm address (perform a search for “twincitylocal” as these emails often wind up in spam – there may be a warning from your email provider but I promise that is safe and legit – you did just register after-all and so should be expecting this email)
    • On your first log-in after registration it will take to a Profile Screen; complete this as completely as you wish. When complete mouse over the uper left hand corner of screen and click “Visit Site” to continue with adding event as before
    • On subsequent log-in(s) the system will skip this profile screen and you can simply add your event(s)
    • Registration will allow you to view or delete your submitted events
    • Please Contact Us if you need to change an event after it has been published (we are hoping to add the functionality to allow users to edit their own events but are at the mercy of the Calendar software developer)
  • Please add any special instructions or requests in the notes section of the submission form before submitting – this is a PRIVATE note to us and will not be published
  • All submissions are subject to approval before posting, please allow up to 72 hours for your post to appear (usually much sooner)
